Are your apartments entirely self contained? Do they share any amenities with other apartments such as the bathroom?

Absolutely not.  All of the apartments are entirely self contained.  You have your own bathrooms, fully equipped with towels and additional accessories such as blow dryers and travelling tooth brushes.

What exactly do you mean by a fully furnished Apartment? What is included?

Each company has it's own definition of "Fully Furnished." At Park Avenue Suites, fully furnished means that all you have to do is bring your clothing.  All the furniture you can possibly need, beds couches, dining tables etc.  We are fully stocked with linens and towels.  We even can provide you with baby cribs if you need them.  The following furnishings are included: Flat Screen color television and DVD Player, linens, clock radio, bathroom accessories, vaccum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and a dust pan with a brush. 

What do you mean by a fully equipped kitchen?

We mean that your kitchen is fully equipped.   We want you to be able to cook your own meals if you want to.  Our kitchens come equipped with dish settings, glasses, and flatware.  We have cookware and baking dishes if you want to prepare.  We have all cooking tools and serving utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, full fridge, dishwasher, and even a few cookbooks.  We can even stock your fridge for you before you arrive.

Can you elaborate on which utilities and conveniences you offer?

Certainly!  All your basic utilities are included such as heat, air conditioning, electricity, water.  We provide you with a telephone with local service, cable television, internet, in unit or on site laundry facilities.

Are there any cleaning charges after we check out? 

None Whatsoever!  We will provide you with a fully cleaned apartment with freshly cleaned towels and linens.  When you leave simply give us the keys.  If you would like additional service during your stay, there is cleaning service available for an additional charge.

What is your pet policy?

At Park Avenue Suites, we allow pets to stay with us.  For reservations for longer than 30 days, we require a one time non refundable payment of $300.  For stays less than 30 days, you will be charged $10 per day for bringing a pet.  These charges do not include any damages that may be caused by your pet. 

What are the cost savings of a Park Avenue Suites furnished apartment?

Generally hotels are 40% to 50% more expensive than one of our suites and will only offer you a fraction of the space.  In addition, hotels will charge nearly twice as much for food you can have at your apartment ready for you.  You can have company over and hold meetings, with ample space to accommodate your guests.  Hotels also have many additional taxes and rates which are significantly higher than that of a Park Avenue Suite.    

How is this different from a Hotel?

Hotels generally give you extremely small rooms, where you can expect no more than a bed and a bathroom.  Park Avenue suites offer you private residences in residential buildings. You can cook your own meals and stock your own fridge.  Whether it is long day of tours and museums or working, a Park Avenue Suite will always provide a more relaxing experience.

Deposits and Cancellations

If your reservation is more than 20 days away, we allow you to pay a deposit between 15% and 20%, depending on the location, the balance payable the week before you arrive, or on arrival by certified check or cash.  We allow cancellations with 15 days notice by email, letter, or telephone. 

What is the arrival Process? How do I get my keys?

If you are arriving between 6:00 AM and Midnight, our on site staff will provide you with a key to the apartment.  If you are arriving between Midnight and 6:00 AM, we will provide you with an access code to the lobby and a box in the lobby that has your keys.  The next morning or afternoon, we request that you inform the doorman that you got the keys.

What is your check In check out policy?

Our standard policy is a check in of 11:30 AM and a check out of 3:00 PM.  However, let us know if you need earlier or later.  If there are no scheduled arrivals or departures out of your apartment, we allow you to come at any time on your arrival date and leave at any time on your departure date.  Our staff can watch your bags for you if you need it. 

Is there a lot of noise from the outside?

Actually, no.  The front and back of our buildings are located on the streets, not the avenues. Also, our newly constructed buildings have double paned sound proof windows standard in all of them.  Our guests generally enjoy an extremely low decibel count coming from the street and from other units because of our strong insulation.
